Dr. Tegan Jemma Reeves works at the intersection of sport, performance, and psychology. She is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee and a mental performance coach working nationally. She helps individuals, teams, and coaches understand how the nervous system shapes learning, resilience, and performance.
A former collegiate athlete at Iowa State University and a leader in competitive dance, Dr. Reeves brings an embodied, trauma-informed approach rooted in the nervous system. She partners with clients to navigate pressure and the demands of work they care deeply about. Her work translates complex psychology and neuroscience into practical, sustainable tools people can use at work, in training and competition, and in life.
A scholar, educator, and speaker, Dr. Reeves has published in leading peer-reviewed journals and taught at institutions including Harvard University. She holds a PhD in Learning and Performance Psychology from the University of Memphis, a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University, and a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance from Iowa State University. Across more than 30 publications, 100 presentations in over 14 countries, and 35+ psychology courses taught, her work connects research with applied practice to help people perform under pressure. From the basketball court to the courtroom, her clients share a common thread: they care deeply about the work they do, and they do difficult things.
