SUPPORTING YOUR CERTIFICATION JOURNEY IN A FLEXIBLE & PERSONALIZED WAY
Dr. Kilwein is a board-certified clinical and sport psychologist and a CMPC® who provides mentorship grounded in applied experience and evidence-based practice. As a former university sport psychologist and current consultant to elite athletes, Dr. Kilwein brings practical insight, cultural humility, and a collaborative teaching style to help mentees build competence and confidence across diverse performance settings.
Mentorship focuses on sport performance interventions, case conceptualization, ethical and cultural reflections, and navigating the real-world demands of sport and performance consulting. Mentees gain practical tools, increased confidence, and a clearer sense of how to navigate both certification and applied practice.
Virtual mentorship is available in both individual (50- or 25-minutes) and group (50-minute) formats. There is no required meeting frequency. To offset costs, mentees can earn additional hours at no charge through direct knowledge, electronic mentorship, and written reflections on articles or recorded material. Mentees need access to their own performance populations and should hold liability insurance.
The process begins with a structured overview of the mentorship manual and a review of your current CMPC progress. It then shifts into flexible support tailored to your needs and professional development goals.
